Update: Amadine and Camera

I downloaded the free Amadine app yesterday. Love it, so far. It’s a vector app (https://amadine.com). Like Image Tricks, it’s a Belight Software product. I’m trying it on my little iPad. Because it’s all about vectors and I still have a loooooooong way to go learning how to use vectors, my first Amadine image (above) is silly and weird. And because sitting at my desktop for long periods of time is still difficult, I haven’t been able to spend much time learning Vectornator. But between Amadine on the iPad and Vectornator on the desktop I’m making progress. Yay!

After a decade of using a 12MP camera (Canon Rebel EOS) I finally saved enough money to buy a larger one. It’s a Canon EOS Rebel T7 24MP. It can use all my old lenses, including the Lensbaby and macro sets. Now I’ll be able to shoot and upload photos that fit larger Redbubble products. The only downside is that I can’t walk around outside very much. What that means is that I’ll need to do set-up shots of water and lights and things around the house. Not ideal, but still: good news!

    1. Yes!! It is! I’m getting better at the basic tools. Now I need to figure out how to put the resulting image file into some other program, enlarge it, and convert the new one to an svg file then a png file. Maybe? LOL – still have to look up that stuff! Thank you! 🤗👋

    1. Hi!! Yes!! It is! And the truly super part is that it’s a “relative” of my old one, so my old lenses will all work. Also, its settings are very familiar, so not much of a learning/adjusting curve. I really hope I sell some stuff, tho, to offset the cost. 🙄Thank you!!! 🥰👋
